Culinary Kids & Culinary Life Skills
Great cooking isn't about recipes—it's about techniques, nutrition, ingredients and fun! Classes are designed for kids to work together in a collaborative, hands-on environment led by our professional chef instructors.
40–60-minute hands-on small focused classes
Each child will receive a Junior Chef Jacket to be worn during class
Culinary Kids weekly recipes and newsletter will be shared with parents
Children will not work with or use knives or heated equipment
Food Allergies? We understand the seriousness of allergies and how to handle them properly and safely.
Goal: Overcome the dreaded "I don't like that" phase
Designed to introduce your child to new foods, flavors and textures in a fun and educational manner.
Kindergarten - 2nd Grade
Goal: introduce child to math, patience and follow up instructions
Designed to help develop math skills through cooking measurements. Students learn that following directions and having patience yields a successful outcome.
3rd - 5th Grade
Goal: Reinforce math skills while also learning the history/culture of the dish
Designed to reinforce math skills by adjusting recipes and having the class complete the math. Class discussion includes the history and cultural significance of the dish.
Middle & High School
Goal: Develop life skills in the kitchen
Designed to teach proper knife skills, a variety of cooking techniques, basic butchery, sanitation, nutrition, math through conversions and food costing, science and history.
