Advanced Life Skills is a STEM Curriculum

Advanced life skills is a customizable daily elective class taught by our instructors at your school using our proven curriculum. Students are taught proper knife skills, a variety of cooking techniques, basic butchery all while focusing on sanitation, nutrition, math through conversions and food costing, science and history through practical application.

Culinary Life Skills: About

Math, Science, History & Culture

No matter the age, we have developed a fun approach to STEM education. Kids will develop like skills, learn about measurement and food science as well as the history and culture of dishes that are prepared.


6th - 8th Grade

Classes build on themselves.  The daily or weekly classes start with food safety and sanitation, hands-on knife skills with a safety glove, as well as breakfast, grains, and vegetable cookery.  Students are exposed to many healthy food items and foods they may not be familiar with.

9th - 12th Grade

Our life skills classes are hands-on culinary classes designed to help students become more self-sufficient and knowledgeable about food, healthy eating and different methods of food cookery.  We dive deeper into the different areas of the culinary world to give students the life skills to be independent and prepared for the next chapter in their lives.
