My Story
Welcome to Teigan’s Pickled Project!
What started as a simple class project aimed at giving back to his community has grown into something truly special. After raising more than $85 for the ASPCA through his class project lemonade stand, Teigan wanted to find another way to make a difference.
With the encouragement and support of his parents, who are both chefs, Teigan decided to combine two things he loves: helping others and pickles!
But this project is about more than just pickles. Teigan is also dreaming about his future career as a fertility doctor. As he researched nutrition, pickling, and fermentation, he became fascinated by the ways fermented foods can be part of a healthy lifestyle and how nutrition can play an important role in fertility and overall wellness.
And so, Teigan’s Pickled Project was born!
Through this project, Teigan hopes to share something he loves while raising funds to help families pursuing adoption and fertility treatments. It’s a small project with a very big heart, and a wonderful example of how a child’s curiosity, compassion, and passion can grow into something that makes a difference in the lives of others.
